I could easily write a novel about how much I enjoyed my stay at Pickalbatros Villagio Marsa Alam Portofino. Due to my late flight from Düsseldorf, I arrived quite late in the evening, but Mr. Haytham made check-in smooth and quick. He even ensured that my luggage was taken to my room, and then personally escorted me to dinner so I wouldn't have to go to bed hungry. The restaurant staff was incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to meet any request, often exceeding expectations. A special thanks to Mr. Ahmed, the waiter at the "El Khan" restaurant. If you're looking to experience authentic oriental cuisine, this is a must-visit – you won’t be disappointed. My room was always clean and well-stocked with everything I needed, and the housekeeping team was not only efficient but also genuinely warm and accommodating. The little surprises they left (see attached photos) truly added to the experience. Although I was traveling alone, I never felt alone. The team made me feel truly welcome and well cared for. I also want to highlight the reception team, who quickly found solutions to any requests I had. The resort itself is vast, but the shuttle bus service made it easy to get around. Upon arrival, I was provided with all the information I needed, and the facilities were well-signposted. For first-time visitors to Egypt like me, this hotel offers everything you could wish for, and they are more than happy to help organize any activities or excursions at fair prices. Whether you're looking for relaxation, family-friendly activities, or cultural tours, this hotel offers something for everyone. The animation team was incredibly professional, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. One memorable moment was when they encouraged an 80-year-old guest to dance, allowing her to relive her youth – truly heartwarming.

We were provided with an upgrade to the beautiful sea-view room which we really enjoyed. During our stay we needed a medicine and we were provided with one from the doctor in the clinic placed at the hotel. The time we checked-out we were also provided with a room to take a shower in. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and kind and make us feel like at home. Both food at the main restaurant and drinks at the bars were high quality and tasty.

It’s such a pity that tomorrow we have to leave… I’m going to write a nice review on trip advisor as soon as i’m back home and suggest my friends to come and visit this wonderful resort! Seemingly part of the natural environment between sandy mountains and deepest blue seas is the Mövenpick Resort El Quseir. Everything was beyond beautiful and my stay exceeded my expectations. The Staff are super friendly and very kind including the Staff at the reception, housekeeping and the beach. Mostafa our activities guide, he was so much fun and knowledgeable of the area since he is from El Quseir City. We went City Biking and morning exploring Walk, both were amazing. The suite was modernly furnished, very cozy and warm. The beach is super clean with crystal clear water. I truly had a great relaxing stay exactly as i was dreaming of. I can’t wait to go back again next year.
