The apartments had fully equipped kitchens and the hotel complex itself offered much in a cafe, pools, gym and bar. It was also great that there was plenty of spaces of free parking surrounding the complex. Although Abades is on a windier side of the island, this allowed for the wind to provide perfect ventilation for the rooms (we are no fans of air-conditioning), since the summer days are very warm. We highly recommend the place if you are planning to explore the island and have a rental car. If the beach nearby is too windy to enjoy, the beaches on the usually non-wind side of the island by Playa de las Americas are only 25 min drive from the hotel. It also helped that the airport was only a 15 minute drive hence when we had to leave for a morning flight back we could get there and return our rental car easily. The staff were the hotel’s best trait however. They were all extremely kind and helpful during our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Parque Santiago IV Official ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en Playa de las Américas, frente a la playa, y tiene piscina al aire libre, centro de fitness y jardín. Everything was nice. I recommend this place.

Este hotel, de estilo colonial, está situado en Costa Adeje y ofrece un spa de lujo y unas vistas magníficas al océano Atlántico. El hotel también alberga 5 piscinas rodeadas de soláriums y jardines. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. We were in a villa with jacuzzi & had a fantastic sleep every night thanks to the huge cloud soft bed & blackout blinds. The view from our terrace was fabulous. The room was very clean. The staff were all so friendly and we loved the little touches - a glass of bubbles on arrival, giving out watermelon by the pool etc. One thing I loved about this hotel is that unlike lots of other resorts, there were plenty of sun loungers so we didn’t feel like we had to compete for space. We loved the pool area, which felt like it was set in a garden - lots of trees and greenery etc and the cocktails from the pool bar are reasonably priced. We enjoyed the pools so much that we barely left the hotel. We were very impressed with the breakfast & had an enjoyable meal in the property’s Italian restaurant one night too. The location is a bit further out so we had a long walk or an e scooter ride to restaurants etc. The beach is a short walk down a big hill but that wasn’t a problem for us.

High end hotel with fantastic free spa services. A series of steam and dry sauna rooms with 'snail showers in between the rooms and an icy room with a pool. The breakfast buffet included everything you might ever want to eat. Lovely grounds.
