The location close to St Emilion, the ambience, the setting, the beautiful building, the out door dining, swimming pool,in fact everything. Lovely Chateau experience. Probably the best we've ever had in France and we've travelled alot throughout France over the years. Even the parking was so easy and so close. Nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff.

We had an excellent stay in Domaine de La Sarrotte! The host was very welcoming and helpful. The place is very beautiful. The breakfast excellent in a nice atmosphere. There is a swimming pool and jacuzzi, but our favourite was the table tennis!

A beautiful mini hotel with excellent restaurant attached. The restaurant is very popular so it would be wise to book. The swimming pool is like a resort, and Stecy the hostess was charming.

Beautiful and charming location. We even had the chance to see a deer in the garden one morning. Beautiful experience for the kids. The apartments are perfectly equipped and very clean. The staff ( notably Paul and Rémy) are super helpful and reactive.

Το Villa Verte διαθέτει καταλύματα με εξωτερική πισίνα, δωρεάν WiFi, κήπο και βεράντα σε Saint-Mathieu. Emile and Eveline have put their hearts and souls into this lovely Chambre d’Hote. Unfortunately the weather was not good but Emile and Eveline were wonderful hosts - there was nothing that was too much trouble. Beds were Comfy and pillows just right. We had a delightful evening with them and very much enjoyed sharing their evening meal with them. Enjoy their adventure - they work very, very hard for the benefit of their guests - it’s great to wind down and spend some time there. Plus they have a seriously good wine cellar that is very interesting. Good luck both - living the dream !!
