Our studio accommodation afforded every comfort and breakfast was charmingly delivered in a basket and left outside the room at whatever time requested. The old farmhouse and gite had a wonderfully rustic feel, as martins and swallows flew in and out of the stables, and it was easy to see how families with children would love the ponies, swimming pool, and many other activities on offer. Very reasonably priced and a place to revisit.

If the weather is nice and sunny, the breakfast is served in the beautiful garden behind the villa. The venue is located not far away from Auxerre's famous clock tower. Manager of the house is a very friendly and welcoming young lady named Bathilde who was constantly available.

The plants and the maintained gardens are top quality. We met the host and owner, Angell, on our arrival and he was kind. Offered recommendations and welcomed us with lovely French hospitality. He speaks fluent and perfect English which made conversing very easy. There is a hot tub in the garden which we loved. The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities in the nearby great room were also appreciated. I had to do some computer work while I was there and doing it in the sun in the garden and in the great room was a welcomed treat.

Very nice, big room with air conditioning/heating. The first evening we had a massage (additional charge). As we liked it very much, we booked an additional night. That day we used the Hot tub (additional charge). If you want to use the Hot tub on your first day, do not forget to let them know, as they might have to start warming the water in time. The breakfast was nice. The owner is very nice and helped us where he could. What is also nice is the small separate kitchen with an outdoor dining area. There you can cook and eat, and there is a Fridge/freezer

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The included breakfast was amazing. The couple that owns the property are award winning chefs. We purchased a dinner at extra cost the evening we arrived. The dinner was amazing and worth every penny!
