The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. All of the cabins are well built and very interesting, with solar power, gas stoves and well-appointed bathrooms and bedrooms. The staff are very accommodating and helpful and the room was very clean and well appointed. We did a little fishing at one of the ponds, visited the little shop for supplies on site and borrowed a book from the community center. A pair of pheasants were living around our cabin, and put on a show each morning for us. Thanks for a great stay!
