He really went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. The garden is gorgeous and secluded. The whole place is beautiful. There were lots of daily essentials provided upon arrival, from coffee and orange juice to bread, biscuits and serviettes. There were pool toys for the kids to use, games, puzzles, books. They've thought of everything. Even umbrellas! (it rained twice during our stay).

As Stefanos was not staying the week we were there we had the pleasure of meeting his mother, Vanda, who could not have been more hospitable and accommodating. Stefanos sent us recommendations which were excellent and Vanda was so kind and we had some great conversations and a lovely rapport, but there was also plenty of space so we felt completely at ease and at home. We did an enormous amount of research ahead of this trip(!) and I definitely think it paid off in us booking here - in fact, we loved it so much we’ll definitely be back! Aegina, as an island, has everything you might want for a short-ish trip, yet just a stones throw from Athens - the history and some brilliant monuments, the delicious food, some excellent day trips (we went to Moni & also to Agistri), some fantastic secluded beaches (especially so in April when we went!), a wonderful little bookshop; yet it is small enough that you really feel you have got to know the island during your stay. It’s certainly possible not to rent any form of transport (we only had the moped for 2 days out of 6) but we did see a lot of the island in those two days.
