Large property to walk around, trail to a waterfall, lots of birds in the morning, good restaurant with good price, close to the Biotopo del Quetzal, rooms well furnished with private bathroom

Had fears this may be a bit of a party hostel which seemed correct when arrived in the middle of a pool party with music blasting. However that was a one off and all the other nights were bit more relaxed. Always quietened down by around 11pm The most amazing location in the middle of the jungle 15min walk to the pools, perfect. Loved the style of the place. Pretty clean and bathrooms decent considering the location. Arriving in the back of the truck great fun!!

The hotel offers plenty of outdoor space alongside your bedroom and shared bathrooms. The bedroom was secure and reasonably spacious. The fan was effective however opening the door was the best way to cool the room as you tried to cool down before bed. The bathrooms are ‘no frills’ but effective. The kitchen now serves basic breakfasts from 6.30am for cQ30. There are restaurants and bars in other nearby hotels.

Really nice homestay, Mary and her family were so friendly and helpful and offered a number of tours to Semuc Champey for very reasonable prices. The room itself was very comfortable and cool at nighttime. There was lots of space outside to relax. The restaurant offered really nice food for very reasonable prices from breakfast-dinner. Really good value for money. Thank you!

Our Stay at Greengos was one of our best during our trip. We stayed in a private Cabin and it was super comfortable, clean, quiet... the whole area including bathrooms and the pool is super clean and we loved the setting and the view. Beside of that, its perfectly located to the Semuc Champeyns and even when its raining you can totaly relax and enjoy your time there. And the Stuff and the owner is amazing :)! All in all, we loved it there :) Ps: its totaly worth it to stay there for more than just two nights 😀

Good central location in town near to the market and shops. Friendly and helpful staff organised my transport to Semuc Champey & onward shuttle to Flores at reasonable prices. on-site restaurant serves up basic but decent breakfast & dinner (extra) at reasonable prices. Private rooms with a fan were comfortable at night and not too hot. Nice communal space to relax on the roof terrace.
