What a wonderful stay we had. In the middle of a forest ("jungle" we may say), so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Quite luxurious speedboat transferring us from Flores and back. Good kitchen and first of all excellent staff, so helpful and with unusual friendly attitude. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone, who wants to feel one of the best possible vibes.

Food not amazing, but above average.
The french toast was fantastic at breakfast.
Incredible setting in the jungle.
The little museum is fascinating.
The included Monkey tour was a highlight and should not be missed!

This charming hotel is located in northern Guatemala’s Petén Jungle, on the shores of Lake Petén. It offers fantastic trips to the Mayan Ruins of the Tikal National Park.

The location in a natural reserve with a private beach is exceptional. The facilities are very well kept and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the hotel and experience in Peten a trip to remember. Kevin Guerra from the reception orgsnized fantastic tours for my family, the service providers were excellent.

The Cafe that belongs to the hostel offers a great variety of healthy food and the portions were big! The prices maybe on the higher side for Guatemala, but it was definitely worth it.

Lovely location. No view from our room but great views from the pool and restaurant. We could easily hear our neighbours in the adjoined next room. So, did not feel very private. Room small and could do with some TLC ie. curtain had a hole, bathroom lights kept flashing on and off. Staff very friendly. Food tasty and portions very large. The proximity to Tikal is a bonus.

The hostel has good common areas / spaces shared with their restaurant.
There is lots of art and decor on the walls which gave it a nice ambience.
The bathrooms particularly are nicely decorated.

The staff are kind and attentive, and, the property is beautiful. Also, the shower and jacuzzi have hot water!
We ate several meals in the restaurant and all were excellent.
The boat ride to monkey island was very enjoyable. Margarita (spider monkey) came aboard and introduced herself.
