The room was clean, especially the bathroom which was newly renovated and had plenty of space, extra tables for the stuff. The bed was amazing! King size which we didn’t expect and fine mattresses. Breakfast was beyond delicious!!! Freshly cut mango, orange and fruit salad. Plenty of cereals, a big menu from which you could choose freshly made Irish breakfast choices. Awesome! Everything - we loved this place ! The accommodation comprised a spacious bedroom and a separate kitchen/dining area/lounge, all of which were superbly equipped with everything that you could possibly think of. Basic foodstuffs and condiments were provided. It was lovely and quiet, despite being very handily placed only a few minutes' walk from the centre of Clifden. The best place that we stayed in Ireland.
The welcome from Bridie was warm and friendly, the room was large and spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom large and clean ... I it's an 'at the end of the road' location but don't let that put you off ... there's some nice walks to be had (there's even a castle nearby) and the view across Bunowen Bay is outstanding ...
Gary, the host was so relaxed, helpful and friendly! The rooms are huge, you have so much space, there is even a terrace with the view of the lake. It was so quiet, so if you look for some rest, you'll definitely find it there. It's also only a half hour drive to Galway. The breakfast was perfect.
Large area to sit and relax, large smart tv, large fridge that makes ice, great bathroom heaps of space
the house is really beautiful. From the outside it really looks like a typical Irish house. comfortable lounge and kitchen with plenty of amenities. the three bedrooms are really very nice and spacious. furthermore the house has three bathrooms, perfect for a family. the owner was extremely courteous and helpful. even sent me a forgotten item and in no time. a really nice experience, I recommend it.
Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Small enough to be personal but yet enough space in the hotel to feel like we almost had the place to ourselves. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent dinner - the gin cured Salmon starter was probably the best thing I've eaten this year. Nice touch to be given a glass of prosecco for our wedding anniversary. A nice big comfortable bed. Very clean bathroom and nice towels, bathrobes. Hot tub with a view of the lough. Breakfast was excellent. Not a TV in sight- total relaxation!
