I had read the great reviews beforehand and was pleasantly surprised to see that they were all spot on. The accommodation itself was great and perfect for us (3 adults, 3 kids). Mike had the fridge stocked with essentials for us, including items for a fry. We had brought a few things ourselves but I don't think we needed to use them. Mike mentioned to us about the bar next door to our farmhouse, "could we pull our own pints?" It was great to be able to have a couple of self poured complimentary pints while playing a game of pool! There was a small outdoor play area for the kids which we didn't get a chance to use properly as we were out most of both days we were there. There was also a communal hot tub and sauna, again we would've loved to use but didn't have the time. I definitely recommend this property for a stay, especially for families. Its about 10mins from Kilkenny and a great base to explore that part of the country.

We were met by the host, super friendly, the accommodation was clean and very comfortable, and offered hot tub pool table. Delighted that we stayed here and the location was ideal. Beautiful views from the farm.

The 4-star Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel is situated right in the heart of medieval city of Kilkenny. The property is only 2 minute's walk from main street, restaurants, shops and Kilkenny Castle. The room was amazing- so huge! Staff excellent. Great pool an breakfast very nice.

With a pool and hot tub, the chic Hotel Kilkenny is located on the city’s ring road, a 10-minute walk from Kilkenny City centre. Very nice people, clean room, beautiful lobby. Breakfast is well organised and tasty, location is perfect, big parking. Also there is spa, 2 swimming pools, fitness room. This is a perfect place to stay in Kilkenny. I would definitely recommend it and next time stay here again!
