Morning coffee is served in the Sun Lounge whilst traditional breakfasts are available in the dining room. Fine Irish cuisine is on the menu at Castlelough Restaurant which overlooks the gardens. We had a lake view room, it was very spacious and clean and had beautiful views over the lake. Bed was comfortable, a large well stocked bathroom and there was a sofa and chairs, coffee and tea making facilities were available. There was also water dispensers on each floor. We used the thermal suite, it was definitely worth it and apart from us there were only two other people using it at that time. The days we were there only the bar was available for food, it was quite good.

The staff was very welcoming. But this can be said about many hotels. The Kingsley stands apart because of the seemingly small touches that elevate your day - the punch bowl in the lobby, the cookies in your coffee drawer, the delicious brown bread at breakfast, baked on the premises every day. The breakfast in general was amazing - the river view, the menu... and I don't even normally eat breakfast.

Set in Castlebar, in a historic building, 4.6 km from National Museum of Ireland - Country Life, Mayo Glamping is a recently renovated campground with a garden and barbecue facilities. A sauna and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The campground also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Our hosts were so kind and very responsive to our requests. We went during the off season so basically had the whole site to ourselves. We were able to relax and enjoy our surroundings throughout our entire stay.
