Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). In short, a highlight of our trip to Iceland

It was a splurge but worth it.

We ended up getting stranded for a few days due to weather-related road closures and the staff went above and beyond to help us get a room, plan our unexpected extended stay, and understand the road closure process in Iceland. Incredible staff - thank you!

It was very nice little cabin with everything you need for a short stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well, and the fact that it was already turned on for us by the time we got there in the evening. Thank you, we had a lovely time at the cabin!
