The staff was very nice. At our arrival, the receptionist responded kindly to our demand and found a bigger room for us, farther from the street, at only very moderate surcharge. In the breakfast room, Angela was extremely nice, fulfilled every our wish, for instance, on our request she changed immediately the omnipresent "lounge music" (that we found quite dull) to music corresponding to our wish. The windows of our room were completely sound-proof so that no noise from the street could be heard. The breakfast was very rich. The reception was very helpful with advice about possibilities to make trips, booking a taxi etc.

We went to wonderful Abruzzo and found 2 new friends. I & S are wonderful owners, extremelly attentive, always smiling , making us feel at home. Wonderful breakfast, very nice facilities. Gated free parking. Close to the beach, mall and the very nice city of Ortona. 23km to pescara.I highly recommend ORIZZONTEMARE !!!!

We’ve stayed here many times and it never disappoints. This time we booked two apartments for our daughter and her wife. they loved the round bed :) While we enjoyed a huge balcony with a hot tub. The building is always clean, well kept, and has the bonus of a small pool outside. We also appreciated the breakfast boxes with our apartment number on them, filled with drinks, cold cuts, and sandwiches, such a thoughtful touch. We didn’t have time to enjoy all the facilities this visit, but next time we’ll definitely plan a longer stay.

Palazzo dei Pavoni offered us a beautiful place to stay, very close to the elegant city center of L’Aquila. The hosts Fabiana & Alessandro were hospitable, warm, kind and knowledgeable about this gem of a city. They served us breakfast that was consistent with the charm and the warm welcome their B&B and the city offer to its visitors. Far from being the usual continental breakfast, the breakfast spread had a taste of everything Abruzzo has to offer from its Pecorino cheese to a variety of cold cuts, pastries, croissants and fresh bread (warmed up too)with three jams and honey to sweeten. Of course served with glorious capuccino/Italian coffee. Thank you!
