This 11th century Tuscan farmhouse is nestled in the beautiful Florentine hills, amongst private gardens where you can enjoy al fresco dining. All rooms offer air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Excellent food. Everything felt incredibly fresh, which for me is a huge bonus. The staff was lovely and available by email for any question I had even before arrival. The setting is pastoral—you see green on every side. There’s a horse farm where you can go for a ride. Truly charming. We didn’t try the spa, but my husband had an in-room massage and was very pleased. Very clean. Recommended for anyone looking to escape all the city noise. A car is essential.

The 4-star iQ Hotel Firenze offers design interiors and i'Qortile Pizzeria & Cocktail Bar serving gourmet pizzas, appetizers and cocktails. It was very near the duoma and all monuments within walking distance. It was a lovely calm hotel with very good helpful staff. A very nice plunge pool plus a pleasant spa area. Rooms were very nice with everything you need provided. There was a mini bar replenished with water soft drinks and snacks every day. This was free of charge. . Breakfast was very good lots of food fruit pastries etc. A tram passes in front of hotel so if sensitive to noise perhaps a room to the rear.

One of the highlights of my stay was the serene garden area and the outdoor pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was also a standout — a delicious selection of pastries, fresh fruit, and savory options, all served in a bright, airy room. Overall, Ville Sull’Arno is a fantastic place to stay for those looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and slightly more peaceful experience while visiting Florence. Highly recommended!
