Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

Also, Davide is always available to assist with you anything you may need. My wife and I had a month’s stay and were extremely pleased with Davide, the apartment and Maccagno!

Located in Stresa, 4 km from Borromean Islands, Casa Rampolina provides accommodation with a sauna, a hot tub and a solarium. The property features lake views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We loved our stay at Casa Rampolina. Federica and Denise made us feel welcome from the first minute onwards and made sure we had everything we needed. We have not experienced such hospitality in a long time. The place is so beautiful. The room was modern, yet cozy and had the most stunning views! Loved the eye for detail in every corner of the place. Breakfast was amazing - delicious food with the beautiful view from our room. Same goes for the restaurant, La Rampolina - if you get the chance you should try it! It was a perfect experience and we are planning on staying there again!

Really nicely located, well maintained property. Rooms are spacious, views are amazing, just outside the town of Mergozzo but close enough (10 min walk). Super friendly staff, nothing to dislike!

B&B Il Folletto del Lago is situated in Stresa and has a private pool and mountain views. The property features lake and garden views, and is 4 km from Borromean Islands. The accommodation features a sauna, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. Although getting there from Stresa requires a winding road into the mountains, the location and the view are well worth it. Both the apartment and the surroundings are beautifully maintained and perfectly suited for a cozy stay. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and very kind. The breakfast is wonderful. The experience exceeded our expectations and it's a place you'd definitely want to return to.
