Lovely stay at La Quercetta. There are two beautiful pools with sun loungers all round. The place was beautiful and peaceful - we didn’t leave the complex for 3 days. They had a great selection for breakfast - eggs and bacon, pancakes, croissants, hams, cheeses, cereals, tea, coffee and juices. The dinners were also delicious and you were seated in a beautiful glass enclosure looking over the town of Foligno. Also the rooms look to have been renovated, as they look better than the pictures online.

The location can't be beat as it sits overlooking the historical town of Orvieto, only a short drive away. There is another beautiful, historical town that sits on a hilltop only accessible by foot bridge called Civita, another must-see. There is so much to see and do in the area, including cave tours. If you'd rather a quiet, peaceful place to enjoy the surroundings, this is the place for you! There is a beautiful pool and hot tub, a patio area as well as an outdoor sitting area for those warmer days. There is a lovely area inside to curl up and wat h TV or read if you wish, and the bedroom is gorgeous, filled with amazing history with original 18th-century charm still in place.
