The glamping domes were super clean, modern, and equipped with everything!! Air conditioner, charging ports, free wifi, fridge, a lounge area and even had a projector for movies. The staff are very attentive and helpful, they showed us a tour on arrival of the property and the shared grounds. Explained how to use everything! They have free to use utensils for cooking, free coffee and tea, sauna and rooftop mini pools with a view of the sea. It feels very luxurious and very peaceful. Definitely recommend!!

The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful! They helped carry our luggage into the room and when checking out. They also spoke good English. The room was lovely and sizable, and the location a very short walk away from the onsen buildings. The price was also great compared to some other local ryokans. Free snacks, food and alcohol in the lounge. The restaurant located in the same building was previously included in a Michelin guide. Incredibly good food, I recommend it even with the somewhat high price! All in all, great experience staying here and will happily recommend it to any other visitors!

Το Onishiya Suisyouen προσφέρει όμορφα ιαματικά λουτρά, σάουνα και ιαπωνικό κήπο δίπλα στον ποταμό Maruyama. The hotel was beautiful. It centres around this lovely garden with koi carp in that in the evenings there's a projector on with a bit of a light display The staff were absolutely head of heels to help you. 10/10. They really can't do enough for you. The shuttle service into town was a life saver! Especially with those funky flip flops they have you wearing! The room was the biggest we had in our whole Japan trip for sure. Spacious and comfy and clean. We opted for the japanese experience of sleeping on the thin roll out mattress on the floor but it was a lot less comfortable than I expected. Nothing to do with them though, I asked for it and didn't like it

Excellent restaurant. We had a room with a spa and it was very private and peaceful. After dinner we lit the outdoor fire and listened to the sounds of nature. It was a great experience. Again, the restaurant was incredible.
