I stayed in a 5* hotel in Europe and don't even get close to what they offer. Close to the station, a few minutes walking and close to a nice bakery (Sizuya). Thanks we loved it.

There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. The hostel was fantastic. We rented a tatami room, which was spotless, very comfortable and with a really nice view. The onsen was amazing, we absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, there were snacks, eggs to boil in the onsens in town and all cooking and serving tools to eat them afterwards. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. This was our favourite stay along the Kumano Kodo, despite being the cheapest.

At the aparthotel, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. It was a spacious and very comfortable room with many amenities like a kettle, tea & spacious bathroom & shower with a dressing table. A lounge is included exactly like the pictures which allows downtime as a foreigner it is always on my mind to be respectful to keep good relationships in japa. It was noticeable they cared very much about the people staying there and the generosity of support was endless. We even arrived a day early by mistake! And he apologised and gave us some refreshments inside before we went to book our hotel somewhere else before arriving as they where full. I very much so reccomend this as a place to stay, it was the best place so far I've stayed in for my 2 week vacation. Thank you and wishing you all the best!

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The room was very cosy and comfortable. Perfect for unwinding after busy days of sightseeing and crowds. The bath does wonders for tired legs from walking. The room is stocked with an assortment of free drinks and traditional snacks are provided in the lobby. The location is great, only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station and close to other public transport. We walked to most of the main attractions. The staff was very helpful and everyone spoke very good English so it was easy to communicate. Our breakfast was cooked with care each morning, making it a great start of each day. We would definitely come back!
