The service and the facilities were exceptional. I liked the way everything was presented. Decor was well thought out and everything in the room was great. I loved the amenities provided in the room (coffee, tea, etc). All the tableware were also very classy and beautiful. Breakfast was filling and they were willing to accommodate for dietary preferences.

The view and decoration for the room and hotel space are really amazing. The lobby and space for dining are beautiful. I believe the designer for the room tried to make the best room for clients, including the place for in-room Bluetooth audio, which is well calculated for sound reflection.

This is a beautiful traditional (restored) Japanese house. Exceptionally spacious and comfortable for two people. The balcony at first floor and patio area with sun loungers to the rear were nice for relaxing at breakfast time and in the afternoon sun after a day out to Mount Aso. The highlight however was the optional barbecue evening meal in the impressive annexe. The host couple were incredibly kind and helpful and the meal was out of this world. The annexe building also has some impressive TV/audio facilities. It was a very memorable stay and we would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Susie, the host is very nice and good at English.She will tell you the history of this wonderful city. Also, she drove me to the JR Station when I could not get a taxi. The environment is nice and cozy, feel like being at home. I highly recommend this cozy home to you.
