Andy and the staff at Dark Horse are helpful and friendly. The accommodation feels so cozy, it's a home away from home. I stayed in the hostel room and it's very clean and comfortable. There is even a TV in my little space that I could watch Youtube and Netflix on. They provide free transport to Happo-one, Goryu and Sanosaka ski resorts. If you want to go to the other ski resorts, the staff can drop you at Happo Bus Terminal where you can catch the free shuttle bus. Free breakfast is also provided.

Great central location, the Husband offered to drive to and from Yudanaka station and the monkey park. They both were really friendly and welcoming. The whole place felt more authentic than some other more touristy places.

They style and quality of the accommodation, plus the location in Nagiso, giving easy access to the shops, restaurants and train station. Also very much liked the audio system, tv projector and access to Netflix and Amazon. Some very nice touches.

The best stay we had in Japan. Right on the historical street. The inside is luxurious, refurbished and clean, but in a very tasteful Japanese style. The host was very kind and forthcoming. You do have to plan ahead because most shops and restaurants in the village close around 4 pm, but then it feels all the more special to walk the empty street.

A recently renovated chalet situated in Hakuba, Hakuba Riverside Loghouse features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.
