You can not beat the view. The whole retreat felt like one big meditation session. The staff was great. The main host had an incredibly calming aura that matched the serenity of the location. I have high anxiety and that retreat was the least anxious I have been in years. The owner was great too. He gave me a free trip to the airport and was a great conversationalist. This would be a great place to write a book.

Loved my stay at Maison Dalabua, the hotel and its grounds were beautiful with lovely garden and ponds. The room was perfect and the breakfast was great. The location is a few minutes walk to the Old Quarter and other attractions like museums. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby as well. Staff were super nice and helped to arrange transport to go around, and manager Raphael was also very helpful in recommending things to do. Would definitely recommend and I look forward to visiting again!

We loved this place! Super clean, bicycles to borrow for free, we chose to extend our stay and got a free upgrade! The staff were very kind and super helpful! If we ever go back to Luang Prabang, this is definitely the place we will chose!!

The 5-star boutique resort is a 15-minute drive from the airport. Included in the room rate, Le Palais offers free beer and wine from 9 AM to 9 PM daily during your stay. The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.

Timeless elegance and breathtaking views of Mount Phousi—La Résidence Phou Vao is Luang Prabang’s most serene and storied royal retreat. Truly the highlight of our two weeks in the region. From the moment we arrived at the pier the staff was fantastic, especially to our young daughter. We just came from staying at a Four Seasons and the staff at La Residence far exceeded what we experienced there. The rooms, restaurant and ground are also perfect - the location is ideal for exploring Luang Prabang but retreating after dark to relax and debrief over cocktails. We are already discussing a return for next winter.

We have been to Luang Prabang several times and as far as we can see this place is the only one around that features contemporary design and amenities. We stayed here for almost three weeks and to be clear: It was GREAT! Our apartment was very nice! Practical, clean, full kitchen, washing machine etc etc. Add to that a full 180 view of the Mekong river from your balcony. The staff was polite and helpfull and the owner (that can be reached by QR codes to SoMe posted on the wall) was friendly and accommodating. The Sokview rates are cheaper than most hotels in LP, so this is really a no-brainer. This is the place to stay in wonderful Luang Prabang. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved staying here. At the beginning I thought it was going to be far from the center of town but they have a car and driver that can take you to town and back whenever you want. They also can pick you up from the train station. Amazing service! Staff was very nice, specially Aja the driver that we had those days (not sure how to write his name). The room was clean, mattress and bedsheets very comfortable, the bathroom was very big with a nice bath.
