Wonderful house, we really liked it. Everything is very clean, the room has everything you need, from air conditioning and towels to a mini fridge. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable people, if necessary, they will help organize trips to local attractions: the house is located close to Sigeriya, Dambulla, Minneriya National Park. I would also like to note the restaurant on the territory - they cook delicious food and it is very cozy. We are glad that we chose this place in Habarana.

This is a wonderful house and we truly loved our stay! It is so luxurious and the host is extremely friendly and helpful. An ideal place to relax and wind down after a day’s travelling or visiting Anuradhapura. The pool is very welcome… and the food was not only delicious, but we were treated to a variety of Sri Lankan specialties - sometimes with an international twist - and explanations as to how the food was cooked. Strongly recommend booking this if there is availability!

He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. It's rich with temples and spiritual atmosphere. Stay at Janaka’s place, ask him for advice, and you won’t be disappointed.

The accommodations are quiet, comfortable and clean in a relaxing environment amongst the trees. The food was healthy and tasty. A number of useful services are available: Wi-Fi, tours, airport transfer. The hosts are most helpful and pleasant.

Το Village Garden Inn είναι ένα κατάλυμα σε Parasangahawewa, σε απόσταση 22 χλμ από Anuradhapura Railway Station και 23 χλμ από Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Our stay at V.G.I. was fantastic. We initially planned to stay for two days, but ended up staying a week. The longer we stayed, the more we enjoyed it—not just the accommodation, but the experiences we had. As nature lovers, we aimed to observe as many animals as possible, and we succeeded 100%. Some of our favorite sightings included giant hornbills, iguana, jardon's nightjar, giant squirrels, paradise flycatchers, pond herons, crocodiles, deer, and elephants. For transportation to Ihala Kottiyaba, there are buses from the new bus station in Anuradhpra at 12:00, 14:30, and 18:00. Alternatively, you can go to the Parasangavewa junction and take a tuk-tuk (or a3-hour walk :). What we loved most: -The friendly and helpful people in the surrounding villages. They will take care of you. -Our host, Muthalif. Everyone in the 20 km area knows him, so you can explore freely and still feel safe. -Great day trips with visits to lakes and forests, and meeting wonderful people. (We ended up at W.N park once,  didnt pay for safari or anything.) -Crocodiles cruising the nearby lake every morning after sunrise. -The delicious dinners. During the hottest hours, we enjoyed relaxing around the house. If you can't sleep in the heat, opt for the AC room.

It was the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka during our two-week trip. Our room met all the standards: it was clean, with no signs of mold, the water was sufficiently warm, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The terrace is also a great bonus. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the host, David. Accomodation is close to main sights.

Everything. Clean room with hot shower. Good air conditioning. Great pool with loungers. Breakfast was enormous and very tasty. We also had dinner which was one of the best curries we have had in Sri Lanka and was a reasonable price.

Gently refurbished, preserving the old art deco details and yet with a fresh and up-to-date feel. Very clean and lots of space. Wonderfull breakfast with a choice for every diet. Very kind staff and great value for money. Right in the heart of Anuradhapura Ancient City "

Το White House Hotel βρίσκεται στην καρδιά του Mount Pleasant και προσφέρει γαλήνια θέα στην τροπική βλάστηση. Really good place to stay in anuradhapura. The room arrangement took us by suprise. Very spacious rooms, beautiful and clean. Friendly staff with execellent customer service skill who went out of the way to help anytime. Quite a variety of activities to keep eveyone entertained. I recommend this hotel for anyone who's heading Anuradhapura.
