This hotel screams old English etiquette with a modern touch . Really one of the best hotels and I highly recommend. Excellent hotel, wonderful room, decor and ambiance very pleasing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was superb and well presented, with recommend wine to match. Breakfasts were amazing, a good choice of the finest Sri Lankan favourites.

Daresh home stay is really wonderful - the rooms are clean, spacious and the balcony of our room overlooked a little stream which meant it was quiet set back from the road. Deva and his family are lovely people - they went above and beyond for us for one of our birthdays and were always checking in if we needed anything else. The food was amazing and they even packed us a delicious breakfast for our early bus the following morning. It’s really accessible by TukTuk to Sri Pada and I couldn’t recommend this place more! Thank you so much ☺️
