Rooms were clean and comfortable, the whole place is nicely decorated with hammocks and wooden chairs. The complex resides with the forest and the pool is beautiful. 2. Had the best Sri Lankan dinner of my whole trip - don’t miss it. 3. Manager was beyond helpful with all matters and even helped me upon arrival and offered to pay my taxi driver who didn’t have change. 4. Price is reasonable - Great value for money. Would def recommend

Boasting a spa and wellness centre and views of garden, Hasthi Safari Cottage is a recently renovated guest house set in Udawalawe, 16 km from Udawalawe National Park. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation offers a sauna, hot tub, family-friendly restaurant and free WiFi. Everything was perfect, Dasun and his wife are great hosts. I definitely want to come back. Dasun took me to see the baby elefants and also the bats and the safari with them was great.

Room is clean and tidy, bed is confortable. Incredible wildlife all around with monkeys and squirrels jumping on the roof. The family that own the hotel is really nice and always happy to help you. The food was the best we had around Sri Lanka. You should really try the dinner ! We can only recommand.

We had a great stay at Green view safari resort. We were welcomed with a drink and early check in. The bungalow was perfect for our needs and very clean and tidy with good Air- con. The lovely couple who own the place were so welcoming. We had a superb home cooked evening meal with choice of 4 curries. Good mini bar choice also. They arranged a brilliant safari for us which was great value and with a really knowledgeable driver. We highly recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay.

At the guest house, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. A wonderful lodge in a beautiful setting by a beautiful river. We had a great time staying at the lodge. Cozy atmosphere, really good breakfast and very tasty dinner. The place is really clean, they arrange safari you want. Highly recommended even for a few days vacation

This 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The hotel features a hot tub and room service. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

The property features an outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness room and water sports facilities. We spent two nights at JML Villa Foresta with the family and honestly, it was the best stay we’ve ever had. From the moment I booked, the owner was in touch and super helpful. Even though he lives abroad, he made sure everything was taken care of and that we were happy. You don’t often see that level of communication and care. Getting to the villa is an adventure in itself. It sits right on top of a mountain, and the hotel provides both the off-road vehicle and the skilled driver you’ll need to get there. Once you’re at the top, the views are absolutely jaw-dropping and the weather shifts constantly, so the scenery feels alive and always changing. The villa is just beautiful. A mix of stone and wood that feels both rustic and luxurious. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Outside there’s a pool with an incredible view, and inside you’ve got a pool table, big flat-screen TV, and a sound system you can crank up without worrying about disturbing anyone, since the villa sits on its own massive 25+ acre estate. Total privacy. RSpecial thanks to Ravi, the host, who looked after us with such professionalism and warmth. He made sure we were comfortable at every moment. And the food? Honestly next level. The owner had told me they serve more than what you pay for, but I didn’t realize just how true that was until we sat down. Every meal was generous, beautifully presented, and delicious. The dishes just kept coming until we couldn’t eat another bite. If you’re after breathtaking views, complete privacy, amazing food, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place. We loved every minute and would come back in a heartbeat.

The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at ease. There was tea and kettle for our use. Breakfast was waiting for us as we came back from early morning safari and it was delicious.

They are ready to respond to any whim (guys, we miss you already). To get to the most stunning views, the hotel provides you with transportation. And there is also a Spa where you can get treatments in complete unity with nature. In short, we have loved this place forever.
