Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. Amazing trip. Great informative staff and chef but particularly the captain. Well worth doing if only to get the Sound to yourself and you need the time to spot all the dolphins, seals and penguins. We had the suite upstairs which was incredible-we didn’t sleep much because of looking at the stars. It was a small group so everyone got to know everyone else. We will never forget this experience.

She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the first moment we felt at home with the smell of delicious hot fresh bread in the air followed by superb communication , a clean and tidy welcoming place and lots of fun for our son such as riding a pony and feeding the alpacas. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and many thoughtful details enhanced our stay. Highlights for us included an afternoon relaxing in the Library in front of a crackling fire, and chatting to other Lodge guests in the lounge over pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

Located adjacent to Lake Te Anau, Tasman Holiday Parks - Te Anau offers a children’s playground, a hot tub and BBQ facilities. All accommodation features a flat-screen TV. The whole facility is really nice. Easy parking. We opted to use the hot tub which was so relaxing with a gorgeous view. Everyone was so friendly. We wished we could stay longer!
