After two years living in the Philippines, without hesitation, we can say that Cocogrove is our favorite place. Firstly, and most importantly, because for many years the hotel and its management have been proactively protecting the environment, including the coral reefs at two marine sanctuaries in front of the hotel and in Apo island ( one of the best places to respectfully interact with turtles) .
Secondly, the hotel offers high quality while maintaining a traditional and beautiful Filipino style, giving us a sense of tranquility even when the hotel was fully booked.
Thirdly, the staff is always attentive and efficient, always genuinely smiling and with a good sense of humor.
We will come back :)

The bungalow was perfect, it was surprisingly big, very clean, the air con worked great, and there was a safe and a fridge. The pool was lovely, it was so nice to swim in at night. The best part was the owners, who took care of us when we had several mishaps during our stay! They were so helpful and accommodating, and checked in on us throughout the rest of our time to make sure we were all good. Seriously, can't thank Jenney and Bong enough!!

The total experience was amazing, first time trying to sleep in a luxury tent and was so lovely also because it’s in a private area of Runik which you’ll become speechless once you’ll see it… seriously! Loved it!

Definitely worth a visit for a relaxing day near the sea, by the pool with good music and drink selection. Really liked that they saved you a pool bed/lounger if you stayed with them. You get warm showers with good water pressure and toilets which seemed clean. Also private toilets that you can use throughout the day that only people staying in the tents can use. The breakfast was okay. View of the sunset was great.

The staff are incredible! They went above and beyond to keep us happy and entertained, without feeling like it was ever forced. Their humour and smiles made our stay.
The resort is absolutely stunning, with three separate pools. It never felt busy as it’s so spaced out which we loved. The spa was so relaxing and so was the hot stone massage. This place is seriously 10/10.
