Our stay at the HouseBoat was an absolute dream. The view from the deck is breathtaking at any time of day, but especially at sunset—it felt like the entire lake lit up just for us. Being able to enjoy that view from the jacuzzi on deck, with music playing through the excellent sound system, created the perfect mix of relaxation and atmosphere.
We also loved the location. It feels private and peaceful on the water, yet it’s only steps away from the Steam Hotel, cafés, and everything Västerås has to offer. That balance of calm and convenience is hard to find, and you’ve truly created something special.
The boat itself is beautifully designed and so comfortable. Every detail has been thought of, making it easy to just settle in and enjoy. We can honestly say that whenever we return to Västerås, we won’t even look at other options—this will always be our choice of accommodation.

The host was very friendly. She even cooked a meal for us. Location is excellent we could do a nice walk around our home. Hot tub was nice and bbq also!
