We had a memorable and opulent stay at this oasis of luxury and peace in the middle of busy Dubai Downtown. The hotel brings a feeling of old Arabian castle amidst the ultramodern skyline and there was something special (maybe it was the spirit of Ramadan..) in the whole atmosphere of Palace Downtown that made us feel very happy to be there. The service during the whole duration of our stay was impeccable and we were treated like royals. Breakfast was possibly the best I've had. Our room was spacious and tidy and the view to the fountain and hotel gardens took our breath away. We didn't spesifically request a room with a view but got it regardless. The location was convenient for accessing all the necessities around Downtown and we saw the fountain show right from Thiptara's restaurant and bar. Dubai Downtown is terribly expensive place to be, but I'll have to say this hotel wasn't the most expensive when it comes to the price of dining, afternoon tea etc. Obviously it is a luxury hotel priced accordingly, but you don't have to be a millionaire to stay here!
