Perfect location - city center and ipanema just few minutes with taxi/uber. Copacabana / Urca we even walked from the hotel and flamengo beach is what locals prefere and it was safe there!!

The location is excellent, near many shops and restaurants in a safe neighbourhood. I belatedly found a jazz bar over the road. The Cacete/Flamengo beach is nearby, and is much better than Copocabana, with more shade and a better promenade. I pleasantly walked about 9 km to Copocabana, then easily took the Metro back to Cacete. Breakfast was fairly basic, but fine.
