A daunting prospect for climbers, the Eiger is more forgiving to hikers. You’ll still need good boots, but one relatively easy trail is the route between the Eigergletscher and Alpiglen train stations, found along the Jungfrau Railway. Before starting your descent, you can take the train all the way to the “Top of Europe” and look out across the majestic Alps.
