The hotel gives out the Chinese authentic vibe, the food, decorations and everything. Front offices people is very helpful all of them can speak English which is great as well as the owner. The tea complementary in the room is fantastic.

The staff at Guilin HeShe Lakeside Resort are beyond phenomenal. Melody and her team assisted my grandparents as if they were family. Besides the most amazing staff team, the surrounding views and scenery in this area is breathtaking, the rooms are just as seen on photos, and the room views are one of a kind. Melody and her team provided not only a place for my grandparents to stay, but a lasting memory of Guilin and the people you can potentially meet along your travels. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, don’t second guess, just book! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Guilin HeShe Lakeside Resort, my grandparents are so thankful for your hospitality.

A wonderful staff member collected us from the train station and provided us with water on arrival. We arrived before check in time, however the staff member brought out fruit for our children whilst we waited. They then also carried out bags up to our room for us also. Our room was incredible. The views from the room were beautiful and the room it's self was very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfy also. The balcony was wonderful with lovely seating. The bath overlooking the mountains was wonderful, our children particularly enjoyed this. Breakfast throughout our stay was delicious and freshly cooked with a lovely variety. On our final morning we heading down for breakfast- it was very heavy rain. We were met at the door to the rooms by a staff member with umbrellas and again they helped with our bags. Staff helped us book a driver for the day so we could visit longji rice terraces. They also offered advice on other areas when asked, and gave us some good tips etc. The reed flute caves are within walking distance from the hotel, elephants trunk and the sun and moon pagodas are around 20mins drive away. Longji rice terraces and Yangshuo are about 2 hours drive away. However with a driver booked for the day these trips are made far easier! We did it with 2 young children who also found it wonderful! This is a beautiful hotel, the attention to detail, hard work and hospitality is incredible. Felt like a home from home! We really hope to return in the future and our only regret would be not booking to stay longer this time!

First of all very nice and helpful staff. It is a family runned hotel and they all put their hearts into accommodation, to feel the guests comfortable. They helped us with all the arrangements to see the attractions.They helped us even that our son was able to go fishing. Very good service and nice and clean rooms.

Very hospitable ENGLISH speaking personal. Amazing view to Mountains with large windows. Calm and safe location. Personal provided all information we needed and organized activities.

1. Very friendly, helpful and hospitable owner of the hotel. He arranged our pick up at the train station, helped to book tickets to the cruise, organized our trip to the rice terraces and much more! 2. Location is a gem! Very peaceful and beautiful. 3. Hotel is very Chinese style, which we liked a lot. We also got a free upgrade to the garden view with a terrace.
