Hotels near Reed Flute Cave, Guilin

If you are looking to enjoy what Guilin has to offer, do not hesitate to book this hotel. Everything was excellent, and I was made to feel very welcome. The receptionist "Juuga(?)" was most polite, kind hearted and helpful; sending me various locations of spots to go (pagodas, flute reed cave, night markets, famous goose restaurant, lakes / elephant trunk hill) and helping me set up the Yangshuo cruise tour. I would not have enjoyed Guilin as much as I did had I not come to this hotel - I would've been clueless. I also have an extremely cut figure at the moment and am on a ketogenic diet, they prepared breakfasts for me as well to meet my needs, which was included in the price. The room was beautiful, cosy and warm.

A wonderful staff member collected us from the train station and provided us with water on arrival. We arrived before check in time, however the staff member brought out fruit for our children whilst we waited. They then also carried out bags up to our room for us also. Our room was incredible. The views from the room were beautiful and the room it's self was very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfy also. The balcony was wonderful with lovely seating. The bath overlooking the mountains was wonderful, our children particularly enjoyed this. Breakfast throughout our stay was delicious and freshly cooked with a lovely variety. On our final morning we heading down for breakfast- it was very heavy rain. We were met at the door to the rooms by a staff member with umbrellas and again they helped with our bags. Staff helped us book a driver for the day so we could visit longji rice terraces. They also offered advice on other areas when asked, and gave us some good tips etc. The reed flute caves are within walking distance from the hotel, elephants trunk and the sun and moon pagodas are around 20mins drive away. Longji rice terraces and Yangshuo are about 2 hours drive away. However with a driver booked for the day these trips are made far easier! We did it with 2 young children who also found it wonderful! This is a beautiful hotel, the attention to detail, hard work and hospitality is incredible. Felt like a home from home! We really hope to return in the future and our only regret would be not booking to stay longer this time!

The whole experience was amazing. Location is the best in Guilin. Remote but on a lake and lovely to walk around it first thing in the morning or early evening. Both Melody and Cheng couldn’t have been more helpful. They assisted with trips, taxis and great advice. I also had an oil massage in my room and the therapist Huan was amazing. I wish I could have stayed longer. The building itself is very modern right on the waters edge. I will definitely be back as I found it most relaxing.

Our stay at Guilin Village Creek In as been perfect! Would recommend 100%. The location is fantastic for anyone who wishes a break from the city and to enjoy a breathtaking view on the mountains. The town is not far anyway, about 10 mins by car. The staff has been kind and professional. They gave us great tips for activities in Guilin and the nearby area. They also helped us booking a show that was about 1.5h from the hotel as well as the transportation to get there. The room was spacious, clean and the view just stunning. Last but not the least the food: you must try their dumplings! They are made from scratch and I’d say the best ones we had in China!!

wondefull stay had the best sleep i have had in my 12 day trip to china. Melody is very nice and helpfull.

Absolutely friendly and helpful staff! The service they provide is exceptional! Trips to sightseeing spots, massages and more can be organised easily through them. Beautiful rooms, nice food (western and numerous Chinese choices for breakfast) , we really enjoyed our stay. Not at all an average hotel - unique indeed! You will not regret it!
