We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. Everything was clean and tidy. They serve great breakfast, so I recommend taking it. Don't see any point to go elsewhere to grab the breakfast. The best option to get to the city is the E1 bus, in my opinion, it's closer and drives fast. Just stop at the Atocha - Prado stop. The neighbourhood is also quiet.

Incredibly welcoming and friendly, in a lovely old building, stylishly updated. We particularly enjoyed the free tea and coffee after travelling and between art galleries. I very much appreciated the attention to smaller detail that ensures a good night’s sleep: soundproofing and darkness as well as good quality mattress and bed linen. Recommended and will certainly return next time we are in Madrid!

Less than 1 km from Mercado San Miguel and a 13-minute walk from Puerta de Toledo, the property offers a terrace and a bar.

The position of the hotel is excellent, the historical importance of the building and the design of the hotel, the hygiene, the room, the comfort of the bed and pillows, the efficiency of the maids. we didn't have breakfast and dinner at the hotel (so many tapas bars and tavernas as well as Mercado de Miguel nearby 😄) so we can't rate that

Veru nice, clean hotel. Location is perfect - 15 min to Puerta de Sol, Mercade de San Miquel, Plaza Mayor. Around hundreds of caffees, restaurants.

as a hotel manager myself, I can say first of all that the smiley and super kind staff makes the first big difference from other hotels, location is great, rooms are super clean and a very nice swimming pool area to relax between day tours. strongly recommended!!!!
