It was a really pleasant stay at St Regis Mumbai. Next to a shopping mall so it's easy to access to shops and restaurants. Having a butler service was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast is excellent with huge amount of varieties. Room is modern and my sleep was really good. Butler ritual service starts at 6.30pm and it was really nice to watch and celebrate. This is my 1st time watching and that really lift up the mood and atmosphere within the hotel. I had a chance to play on the grand piano offered by the hotel pianist, Steven so it was really nice to try on that.

We visited The Oberoi, Bombay, to celebrate our 25th anniversary in January 2024. It turned out that The Oberoi clearly exceeded our already high expectations. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Harleen, whose warm and friendly behavior made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. Her attentiveness and genuine kindness were constant throughout our stay. We also were very surprised to find a wonderful chocolate cake in our room on the occasion of our anniversary. Besides the great location and wonderful design of this hotel, the entire staff at this wonderful hotel was very friendly and attentive. We especially want to mention Sous Chef Richard, who accompanied us culinarily throughout our stay and continually surprised us with unexpected delicacies. Unfortunately, we missed the Saturday brunch. We hope we will soon have the opportunity to make up for it. This hotel is one of the few 5-star hotels that, alongside luxury and quality, manages to convey a family atmosphere where one spontaneously feels at ease. We are sure when we return, it will feel a bit like "coming home". We are already looking forward to it and thank The Oberoi Team for its hospitality. Oliver and Nicole

The hotel’s transfer set the tone — a smooth, luxurious ride from the airport, just a stone’s throw away, yet worlds apart from the bustle and noise of the city streets. Stepping into the lobby was like stepping back in time. The 1920s-inspired interiors — rich Art Deco detailing, exquisite architecture, and carefully curated artwork — spoke of a bygone era of glamour and sophistication. Every corner reflected thought, taste, and sheer style, offering an immersive experience that felt both grand and intimate. The people of the Fairmont, however, made our stay truly unforgettable. Special thanks go to Executive Sous Chef Kaustubh Chavan and Sous Chef Vishal Shetty, who not only delighted us daily with their culinary artistry but also surprised us with a beautiful farewell cake at our last breakfast. Poolside, Sonny and Ankit took such great care of us, ensuring our moments of relaxation were nothing short of perfect. The dining was, in a word, spectacular. Across six live kitchens, the chefs showcased flavours from around the world, sourcing rare ingredients and presenting them with creativity and flair. Every meal felt like an event, every plate a masterpiece.

Everything, high standard decor colourful and classy. The rooms are of good size, staff are extremely attentive. The food was a taste sensation experience and coming from New Zealand very affordable to be eating at 5 star level. Even the music played at breakfast and dinner was very tasteful.
