The room is spacious (in Japanese standard), modern and clean. There’s a small sofa and a desk chair, so both of us can sit at the same time. This is so special for Japanese hotel at the same price range. Bathroom is roomy and modern. The overall vibe of the hotel is modern and cozy. Short walk from Yamagata station and 7-11 down stairs is a plus.

For our itinerary, this place was perfect. We planned to use Yamagata as a base to see Zao, Ginzan, and Yamadera. This hotel is attached to the Yamagata station, which is the central place to start the journey to any of these places. Other than that, the hotel is pretty standard for Japan. It's clean, lots of toiletries offered, and friendly staff.

Great hotel near the Yamagata Station, about 5 minutes walk. The room was quite spacious and clean. It was easy to comunicate with the staff as they spoke perfect English. For breakfast we had to choose Western style set or Japanese style. We liked everything about our stay. Highly recommend!

Close to the JR Yamagata station. A Max Valu supermarket is also just right around the corner. Room is what you expect from standard Japanese business hotel. The TVs show you how busy the public bath is and if the washer and dryers are occupied. WiFi was also pretty good. Free breakfast was great. I read another review that said there wasn’t a lot of variety, but there was very good variety in my opinion for a free breakfast. Good mix of Japanese and Western items. It gets pretty busy, though.

The hotel is in Yamagata station and had very easy access to. Once you get out the train gates there are signs for the hotel (literally a 2 min or less walk). The staff was really kind and helpful (especially since we didn’t speak much Japanese) . The room was clean and comfortable. I’m very particular with Japanese hotel bathrooms since they can be cramped (I hate how close the toilet ,sink and shower is in typical Japanese hotels), but this hotel bathroom was more spacious and comfortable to move around in

I love that it is super close to the station and there is a direct passage from Yamagata station to this hotel, so you dont need to go down to the main street. I also like the Yamagata city view from our room
