Hotels near Mutrah Souq, Muscat

The best option you can choose in Muscat, great hotel in quite location close to the beach and other restaurants. Pool area is great and open 24x7 for hotel guests. The amazing experience from check-in to check-out (also with transport to airport). I think, it's a waste of time to describe the lot of option for breakfast buffet :-). I hope we will return to this hotel soon.

I liked the very friendly professional staff, Receptionist, supervisor, security. It's a real nice clean place.

The staff is so nice and welcoming. The included breakfast was great. We also had the lunch and dinner buffet since the price was very reasonable (3.9 OMR pp) and both were absolutely delicious. The hotel is close to the main sites and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants around. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. We even got an upgrade. I totally recommend this place.

Large and clean room. Close to Ruwi bus station. Many shopping and dining options nearby. The breakfast is not fancy, but no complaints for the price I paid (3.5 OMR).

Location of the hotel is amazing! Its the best hotel location in the city in my opinion. The staff were very professional, attentive, and friendly. I woke up one day with a bit of a sore throat and at breakfast one of the staff noticed and offered to bring me a hot drink of lemon, ginger and some other herbs for it. It was a very nice attentive gesture. I wish I remember his name to give a personal shoutout. Facilities at the hotel were nice too. The private beach is the best part of the facilities and the location as well. The two pools were great. Gym was fully equipped and had a nice vibe. Food was really good too. Wide variety at breakfast and we also tried Shiraz restaurant and also the Duke bar. The bartender at Duke was wonderful! Made us some really nice cocktails. They have free shuttles to some of the most important attractions and downtown areas of Muscat. We took the shuttle from the hotel to Muttrah Souq which is a 20 minutes drive away. It left on time and dropped us right in the center. They also have a shuttle on the way back to the hotel but we preferred to stay longer so we went back on our own. (Pro tip: download an application called OTAXI. It's basically Oman's Uber. You can order taxis wherever you are to any location you want in Muscat and it has the best prices and safest option to go around freely. It tells you the price before so you know exactly what to pay with no hassle) Our flight back home was at 6.30pm which meant we would leave to the airport at around 4pm. It was really hot during our stay so I tried my chances with asking for a late check out and the reception staff were very happy to help with that! They let me stay until 4pm free of charge. I really think the staff made all the difference in how we experienced the hotel and Muscat. They were always helpful from check in to check out. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and I feel like I will definitely come back if I get the chance to visit Muscat again.
