Fantastic breakfast! You could have done less and it would had been excellent still ) We requested mattress replacement for a harder one and it was complied with within an hour. Monster excellence! Dinner at the palace - fine Italian for those who like. Definitely coming back.

The hotel is conveniently located, the staff are very friendly and supportive, whether at the entrance, concierge, the reception, the buffet you name it. The room has amazing amenities and features. The bathrooms were quite spacious and shower space was quite impressive with regular, and water fall type. Extra towels are available, extra water bottles etc...

Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul is located between Dolmabahce Palace and Naval Museum on the European coast of the Bosphorus.

Amazing 5* hotel! First time I stayed there in 2015, and in 2025 it still holds. The rooms and the interiors are actually better than Four Seasons at the Bosphorus and Ciragan Palace Kempinski where I also stayed recently. The service is almost as good as Four Seasons (!) and beats Kempinski by a mile. Both restaurants (Ist Too and Shang Palace) are great. The indoor pool and the spa area are also up to the highest standard. Honestly, unless you are willing to pay 2x for one of the few “elite” Bosphorus hotels, Shangri-La is an obvious choice.
