i honestly cannot express how perfect everything was. From the lovely staff to the service to going extra and beyond. I can’t thank you all enough and wil definitely recommend this to everyone and me and my wife will definitely come back. It was 20/10 absolutely spot on. The people were awesome and they make Zanzibar beautiful and perfect. They never say No to anything it is incredible

Firstly, consider I am someone who is very well traveled across most parts of the world and have high standards for my stays and the service I receive. I can confidently say at Sunshine bay met all my expectations were met, it has all the traits for a perfect relaxing stay: Really really good food, much better then the top rated hotel I am staying at right now also on the island, incredible service, the staff super attentive and friendly, which is very important, and very good living conditions, wide rooms with comfortable bed, nice terrace, etc. Props to the manager Kilosa for being super helpful, going so far as to making sure I am to recover some AirPods I left there.

A beautiful resort-type hotel in a boutique style (small and private), which offers more than the others. The arrangement of the hotel's exterior with various types of fruit trees offers a glimpse into a part of the world that many tourists would not otherwise get to know. Passion fruit, bananas, mangoes, almonds, papayas and other species grow there. You can also use the private beach and sun loungers of the nearby hotel, which you can reach in a few minutes on foot, or if you take the provided shuttle a little further, you can enjoy the beauty of Muyuni beach (we liked this one better than Matemwe), in front of which sandbanks are also forming. You can also meet their beloved dog and cats at the accommodation. We used the very nice pool, sun loungers in the shadow of the trees and beach volleyball the most, but they offer several other things (e.g. bike rental, excursions) and board games. There are also many books to read if you don't have your own. The food (breakfast included or additional lunch/dinner offer) is excellent. The hosts are very friendly and willing to help.

staff is super kind and attentive, the room was exelent, the food is delicius. they are flexible, and try to make all your wish to happen!

We had an amazing honeymoon at Mambo Paradise in Zanzibar. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The peaceful environment was perfect for relaxing, and they organized day trips and taxi pickups effortlessly. Highly recommended for anyone seeking exceptional hospitality and a memorable stay!
