The property itself was so quirky and really well designed. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. It’s also such a nice area with cool bars and really nice restaurants a short 10 min or so stroll away. Also make sure and check out the view of the city on the 3rd floor! Would highly recommend!

The view of the Empire State Building from the 13th floor is unbeatable. The room was clean, spacious, and appeared to be newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable, and we always felt well-rested after a good night’s sleep. Housekeeping deep-cleaned our room every day. Noise from outside wasn’t really an issue on the 13th floor, even for people like us who don’t usually live in big, noisy cities. The hotel smelled great and has a beautiful little lobby with comfortable sofas and chairs. The staff was helpful, always smiling, and very polite. They even gave us a bottle of champagne because our internet connection wasn’t working. Overall, the experience was amazing.

Prospect Park

This sprawling park is a focal point for all Brooklyn life. Cyclists and runners rub shoulders with picnicking families in its shady groves and open meadows. Adventurous types can scramble through The Ravine’s rugged woodland, while pretty ponds provide spots to paddle, row or fish. And if all that sounds too energetic, simply spread out a blanket and snooze in the sun.

This is a beautiful classic house on tree-lined street in great family neighborhood. Walking distance to Prospect Park, good restaurants and markets nearby. Kitchen is well equipped for several days stay. Sean is a great host - we appreciated his checking in during our stay and thorough communication about details of using facilities. House Guide Book is useful. Thanks Sean!

We loved the location. There is a wonderful market downstairs that we enjoyed getting coffee, water, fruits etc. And restaurants and bagel shops! Walking to Prospect Park along the tree lined neighrhood was so nice too. This place was very cute and overall, we loved staying here. It is perfect for 3 to 4 people max because there is one bathroom. The owners are very responsive and friendly. I would stay here again!

Breakfast was a simple continental breakfast with hardboiled eggs, cereal, donuts, bagels, and toast. Location was excellent. Went for a walk down to Prospect Park on Sunday morning. Lots of food places open late as well, which was great since we arrived after 9pm. There was a lot of street parking on a Saturday night, with free parking on Sunday, which was great for us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a good value!

The location of the hotel turned out to be a bonus for our travel experience. We walked to a variety of places to eat that were excellent and reflected the global diversity of the people living in that part of Brooklyn. We were a 15 min. ride to Prospect Park where we met friends at the Zoo.

Location, Location, location., says it all. 2 blocks to the Q line, close to neighborhood markets, & quieter than staying in Manhattan. Plus, right at the foot of Prospect park. The hosts, Phil & Faye are two angels 😇 on earth. They make you feel right at home.

Marvelous location - one of the best features is the Union Market right next door. In addition to making food shopping convenient it has an excellent deli. The apartment is convenient to public transportation, the Brooklyn Art Museum, Brooklyn Library, Prospect Park, and the Barkeley Center. There are many excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. The bed was excellent and the place was very clean.
