Our stay was great! Great hotel near Kruger Gate, the monkeys jumping around in the trees, rooms totally clean, very tasty buffet, great ambience and very friendly staff. Especially we would like to thank the two managers, Sarah and Garry, who helped us with the car breakdown. We would also like to thank the gate keeper, Phanuel, who alerted us to the flat tire and changed it for us without hesitation. Thank you very much. Very friendly and helpful staff. Service is top notch and food is the best! I loved all my meals there and I stayed there for 3 nights. Breakfast has a huge spread and there’s something different every night for dinner. Huge kudos to Silence and Linda for the best service and meals! Don’t miss the game drives. It’s the best way to see animals in Kruger. The game drives are in Kruger and I got to see leopard, lions and the very elusive wild dogs. Kruger gate is about 20 minutes drive from the lodge (I self drive into the park for my own afternoon drive). Rooms are comfortable and very comfortable beds. You can hear hyenas and lions calling in the middle of the night (although there aren’t any animals on property).

Loved every single moment. We were treated like royalty. If you want to spoil yourself or someone special in your life you have to book at beautiful Kruger Shalati. The game drives were amazing and the views are out of this world. The food is great and the staff were professional and extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely book again.

The luxury tents are perfect. The best part of the experience though was our guide, Charné Her knowledge, respect and enthusiasm for the animals is beyond compare. And our night tracker, Captivity, was also very skilled. He even spotted a chameleon in a bush in the dark !
