we loved our stay at sexto sentido! after spending 2 nights in the more city centre of palomino, we valued the privacy and serenity this property offered. we enjoyed being able to spend quite mornings drinking coffee and reading in the hammocks while being able to spend the evening in the more bustling palomino centre just a 10-15 min walk away. alisonn was an exceptional host! she consistently went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. en plus - she provided an amazing breakfast (the bread that she makes on site was incredible! i wish we would have more time to try the different offerings of the boulangerie) + i had one of the best sandwiches of my life here for dinner (truly!). accommodations are clean and comfortable + since the property is relatively spread out we appreciated a bit of privacy (esp relative to other places we saw in palomino).

What an amazing place. Firstly the location, only 20mins from Palomino, but you feel like your world's away. A truly beautiful part of the earth, serine, tranquil and one of the most beautiful views I've had the pleasure of seeing in Colombia and beyond. All enjoyed with the comfort of some beautifully designed cabanas. Secondly, the two wonderful lady's who welcome you warmly, and continue that throughout your stay. They provide a great calm, relaxed, atmosphere that only adds to the location. The food in a delight, healthy, fresh. Great communal area with well stocked kitchen and a pool...... I could go on...... Highly recommend!!!!

The rooms are set in a beautiful garden with lots of places to chill out in. It is off the tourist strip but very close - you get the convenience without the noise. The pool area is lovely and there are lots of birds living there too. The shared kitchen is a great addition. There is no sound proofing between the rooms but they are spread out and everyone staying there was very quiet and respectful.

Located in Buritaca, Finca La Selvita Chocolate experience provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. A balcony with garden views is offered in all units.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hidden gem. The mule pick-up service added a unique touch, making us feel like true adventurers as we arrived at the property. Our room had breathtaking views and we couldn't get enough of the ever-changing panorama and the sounds of the river stream and birds around us. We enjoyed Polo's culinary skills, showcasing local flavors and ingredients. The chocolate tour was an absolute highlight! Learning about the process while indulging in treats was an experience we won't soon forget. Also the inclusion of local fruits from the grounds was a delightful touch. It felt like a genuine connection to the land and its offerings. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, Polo's warm hospitality and attention to detail were evident. We spent three days at Jui Chi Mama's. It felt like home. The rooms are spacious. Our hosts, Lau and Ger, were amazing. We did the BIRDWATCHING tour together, which was incredibly enjoyable! In short, a great stay! Nb: 15 minutes walk from the center, but offers a very quiet and relaxing place.

The cabins are beautiful and luxurious with amazing views in the heart of nature. The hosts always went above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and having a nice stay. The breakfast was amazing, and Helmut and Fiona are wonderful chefs.
