Our host, he was great and friendly and showed us around the garden and helped us spot a couple snakes, sloth and other creatures. The garden was stunning. He also cooked us up a yummy breakfast. For me the area was great with a car, it's an hour walk from the town along the beach. A bit out the way without a car.

Absolutely amazing place very close to the beautiful and deserted Playa Grande. Gia and Mia are the best hosts imaginable. Lovely room with nice touches eg. mini bar with drinks and snacks. Delicious breakfast with lots of varieties. Nice dinner place nearby.

We loved the house and the location. It was a very nice walk to the beach, national park, and restaurants. We loved sitting out on the porch and in the hammock. Enrica was very helpful and welcoming as well.

Very nice bungalow with full Equipment kitchen and big bathroom. Silent place and a nice garden where you can see different kinds of animal in the morning when you have breakfast on the terrace. The owner life there and when you need anything the help you with all. It Was one of the best place in CR where we stay. Chauita is a traditionell place and ypu have nice Restaurants next to the bungalow orjust 15min the walk to the Center. Puerto Viejo is much expensive and to bussy with a lot of people. Good for visit for one day.

Location was great and peaceful .the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. It was easy to communicate with them in English was a big help as non Spanish speaking guests.

We had a fantastic time here. The place is peaceful and so beautiful! We were in the chalet “experiencia” where it feels like you’re sleeping in the forest but you’re protected inside (lot of monkeys in the forest 😍)! Best breakfast we had in a long time! Everything is homemade, organic, healthy and also it varies each morning. Betty and Jessica are the best, it was a 5star service, they are extremely helpful and nice. They offer multiple services: laundry, massages, guide, a cook that comes over prepare your dinner, etc. We asked to have dinner there, a very kind lady came over and cooked a fantastic dinner. It is very well located not even 5min from Cahuita. Thank you Betty and Jessica, for sure we will come back.

Wildlife everywhere...stayed 2 nights and saw way more here from porch then saw in the NP ..howler and capuchin monkeys at all times of the day huge iguanas agouti birds butterflies crabs so much to see it was incredible..was the highlight of our trip of 20 days so far .. if you are visiting for wildlife THIS IS DEFINITELY FOR YOU!! DONT HESITATE it was amazing. It's a wooden simple private cabin with a comfy hammoc Cahuita NP next door and in centre of town There is a kitchenette you can access fully stocked ...the fans in room are good enough to keep you cool as well as the bug netting around beds was nice
