This complex is very impressive. It is surrounded by nature and we've seen many animals on the property: coatis, monkeys, snakes, frogs and lost of big birds. There is a pool and jacuzzi. We had breakfast admiring the volcano and watching "National Geografic" unfolding live in front of our eyes. I think this is the closest you can get to "living in paradise".

Our 3-nights stay at Cecropia Ecolodge was absolutely lovely. We wouldn't have dreamed of a better place. It's a little paradise, where we could relax and disconnect. The garden and forest are beautiful. The night tour is worth it. Being able to watch the lovely birds of Costa Rica (toucans, motmots, woodpecker...) while eating breakfast has no price ! Jay attended us in every way possible, he's really kind. Thank you for everything Jay, pura vida !

Stunning jungle setting full of plants and wildlife - we lost track of how many bird species we saw here. Lovely refreshing pool that was very underused. Very friendly and helpful staff and delicious (hearty) breakfast. We loved the out-of-town location and saw toucans when walking to the hotel. We found a brilliant cafe/restaurant (El Chante Verde) just one mile away so we didn’t need to go into La Fortuna.
