Such a fantastic taste of paradise. Everything at subtropica is done with love and skill. The breakfasts are superb, the pool is crystal clean and perfect temperature, the grounds are gorgeous with healthy beautiful plants growing everywhere. We were lucky enough to meet the owner Antonio, who helped us fulfill all our plans in mindo! Thank you!

The apartment was amazing with an incredible view overlooking the forest. The hotel was located very close to the main section of town - we chose to mostly walk, however taxis were available if needed. The food was very nice, both breakfast and dinner. The host and staff at the hotel were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again. - Luke and Mary

This is one of the best hotels we stayed ever. Marco is super kind, helpful and very passionate about this place and everyone that is coming there. If you go to Mindo you HAVE to stay there! The pool area is very nice, the food is delicious, it‘s even in walking distance to the city center and the cable car to do some great hikes. Marco will also support you planning your days.

Located on the riverbank, Saguamby Mindo Lodge offers private access to the river in Mindo. The property is just an 8-minute walk from the city center and a 2-hour drive from Quito, Ecuador.

Excellent breakfast very comfortable bed. Staff very attentive and helpful. Secure parking. Located just in the town adjacent to the riverfront- lovely spot.

The location of the hotel was not far from a small town, but far enough that it was completely quiet at night. The fact that the original owners built it in a forest, while clearing only the minimal number of trees, helped maintain this illusion. Also, our individual room was only a few metres away from the main hall/reception area, but again because of all the trees that had been left, it seemed completely private.

The family-run Cabañas Armonía y Jardín de Orquídeas is located in the El Progreso neighbourhood, 2 blocks from Mindo's main street.

The hotel is located a little bit outside of Mindo center, but not far from it - the spot is simply beautiful. We felt more than comfortable in our Suite incl whirlpool on the balcony and enjoyed our stay to the utmost. Very good breakfast and food too. Highly recommended!
