The place is just marvelous - up in the hill, overseeing wundervoll nature. You sleep in enchanting cabins, sitting on the terrace in the middle of a national park with a fire at your side, using the wood-fired sauna and whirlpool. Brian and Gillian are wonderful hosts. A must stay for couples. Absolutely perfect. Beautifully built, lovely decor, and the garden is just amazing. Fiona was more than accommodating, very helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to go walks. It was my fiancée’s 40th and she had the balloons and bubbly there for her arriving. Also, the place was absolutely spotless. A fantastic stay away and highly recommended.

It was so quiet. The beds were comfortable and the lodge was lovely and clean. The was complementary tea, coffee and milk sachets on arrival. The lodge was very well equipped.

I was upgrade from bunks to a king bed and it was truly needed after the walk I had done. The overall customer service was amazing. Euan couldn’t have been more helpful, he even offered to have dinner waiting for me as he know I would miss the pub kitchen closing time. The room was a perfect size and very clean and tidy. The shower was most needed and good size for me to wash away the days walking. All in all a very pleasant place to stay.
