The best desert camp I’ve stayed in. Everything was perfect; the location was beautiful, our camp accommodation itself was pristinely clean, spacious and comfortable. The cooking facility adds a nice touch to the place. The WiFi is only available in the bar. But, that was ok for us. Wi-Fi worked really well in there. We also had the buffet dinner at Sossusvlei lodge one night. The outdoor setting of the dinner hall was just stunning.

The staff were amazing we absolutely loved the animals. The manager Stefan and his wife were very helpful. we did the nature drive in the evening, which was exceptional. Everything was really good.

With Sesriem Canyon reachable in 46 km, Namib Outpost features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar.

My wife was biten badlx by a tick in the dunes, the staff organised a Transport to the nearby Clinic at no time and no cost! Besides excellent Food and Service we were really feeling at Home far from Home!

Excellent location, lovely food, luxury tents although there was a lot of noise during the night because there was a sandstorm during out stay (lots of wind). Very friendly staff and great setting, lovely desert views, would definitely stay again!

First stop on our drive around Namibia, and this has set the bar high. Not many guests staying as low season, but that suited us perfectly. All the staff were lovely, a particular mention to Ferdinand, who was the main point of contact for anything we had questions about and he was not alone in the willingness of the staff to make our stay memorable, 5* service from all. I also had one of the best massages ever, given by Dena, in the Outpost Lodge (part of the same group) a short drive away. The views are amazing and with a small waterhole close to the Lodge it was a pleasure to see frequent visits by Oryx & Wildebeest. Can highly recommend staying here.

The location was perfect for exploring the dunes, the hotel itself is beautiful and relaxing, the excursions offered are great, the food is excellent and the service and friendliness of the staff exceeded our expectations. It was a great experience and incredible value for money.

Situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers accommodation close to the Sesriem Gate. The lodge offers an outdoor pool.
