We had an amazing time at Milima. Everything was perfectly organized and taken care of down to the smallest detail. The location is stunning, even more beautiful than the photos. It's truly special to watch the wildlife at the waterhole right from your breakfast table or poolside lounger. But what made our stay truly unforgettable were the game drives with Thomas! Thomas is an incredible guide who knows everything about the animals and nature, and he goes above and beyond to make the experience as special as possible for his guests. WOW - where should I start? Super pleasant and uncomplicated communication with the lodge. Warm welcome, sensational support, assistance is always offered on every topic. The breakfast was incredible - not only was it presented in a first-class manner, it was also super freshly prepared. the atmosphere of the lodge with its attention to the smallest detail is unbelievable! we felt welcome and at home from the very first second - the reality is even better than the pictures suggest! The setting was spectacular. It is out of the way and a bit difficult to find if self-driving. However, once there, the drive is worth the effort. Wild open area. Friendly staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Room large and charming with comfortable bed.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay in Hoedspruit! We had the most incredible 4-night stay at Wild dog guest lodge, a villa inside a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the host-Vicky and Henro’s genuine kindness, attention to detail, and heartfelt hospitality. Every interaction felt sincere, thoughtful, and welcoming. The villa itself is spacious, clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are comfortable, the layout is well thought out, and every function of the home—from the kitchen to the outdoor areas—made our stay very convenient. The peaceful, natural surroundings made this a perfect place to relax and unwind. During our stay, we spotted various wild animals just walking pass the villa—Nyala, Duiker, Warthogs—which made the experience feel even more magical and connected to nature. The breakfasts were fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared with the animals, coming to the waterhole. On the morning we had an early game drive, the host even packed a gorgeous breakfast for us to take along. Really lovely breakfast during dame drive. We also booked all our game drive activities to Kruger and in Big 5 Game drive, through the host, and every experience exceeded our expectations and we met all big 5 and other more. From start to finish, everything was arranged perfectly, and we felt completely taken care of—even though we didn’t rent a car, everything was smooth and easy throughout our stay. This is a place we would return to in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a serene, nature-filled, and wonderfully hosted stay in Hoedspruit, this Wilddog guest lodge is the perfect choice.

The hosts were super nice and very accommodating. The safari that we booked through the Lodge was amazing - highly recommend doing that! The guide was super informative and took his time showing us the behavior of the animals. We did not just take photos like in a zoo but e.g. got to see a lion chase and watched the animals for like an hour. The breakfast exceeded our expectations since we got even more food than we ordered, it was all delicious and we got to enjoy it on the Terrasse next to wild animals. Highly recommend staying here!

The lodge accommodation was excellent, allowing great contact with nature. The staff was very friendly and efficient and lodge facilities very well decorated and comfortable. The safari games were amazing, with a special thanks to the field guide Jika and tracker Caswell - who made all possible for us to see all the Big 5 and beyond. It was an awesome time in family that will be locked in our hearts forever. We strongly recommend Moditlo Lodge and ask for field guide Jika and tracker Caswell - they made a big difference in our safari games!!!

Milima is a fantastic lodge! Our luxury safari tent was just perfect looking out onto the waterhole ❤️ the staff are all amazing…. Big shout out to Thomas our guide on the 8 game drives we did… he is so incredibly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to spend time with! Thank you Thomas 👌🏻

This place is amazing. Very nice lodges in an area surrounded with animals. The safari day tour is a MUST in my opinion, very nice guides and they know exactly where to look and come with very nice facts about the animals. Even the food was very good!
