Lodges in Madikwe Game Reserve

Fantastic location in the reserve. Great food and excellent service by the team there. The restaurant headed by Ex Chef Rea was a treat listening and catering to our every whim despite us being a large group. To top the service was the hospitality with the complimentary cakes, wines for our birthday and anniv in our group. Not to mention the beautiful dance by team to bring in the birthday. The game safari guide James was super … thanks for making our trip so memorable. Wish we had stayed more than a day !

Impodimo Game Lodge was perfect! We did the all-inclusive option. Everything was streamlined. The cottage was beautiful and had all the amenities. Cottage 4 was right next to a path where elephants walked frequently! All of the staff were lovely. On the game drives we were made as comfortable as possible with blankets and water. Impodimo has both a ranger and a tracker per vehicle, which provided a unique experience. Each game drive also had a stop for a beverage and a little snack.

The reserve was stunning and the lodge offered fantastic views overlooking a watering hole. Our accommodation was fabulous—comfortable and stocked with everything you could possibly need. So peaceful and serene-the perfect place to relax. The game drives were brilliant; we were incredibly fortunate to spot the Big Five on our very first afternoon. The food was delicious. All we had to do was show up and enjoy the drives, the meals, and the beauty of the surroundings. Unforgettable experience.

What a place! I could honestly go on forever about how amazing Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge is! We were return travelers and had another truly incredible stay. From stunningly beautiful rooms, wonderful and very friendly staff, absolutely amazing wildlife and delicious food- nothing is short of perfect. We just wish we stayed longer! We will definitely be back!

The encounters with the magnificent animals in their natural habitat were truly awe-inspiring and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. The Boma evening was a truly memorable experience. The traditional setting, the crackling fire, and the delicious food made for an authentic and enjoyable evening. It offered a unique opportunity to connect with other guests and share stories while immersing ourselves in the rich African culture. The food and beverage offerings at Rhulani were exceptional. Very nice villa on a great resort with great staff and the most excellent game ranger ever ( Silas). Also good cook. Everyone went out of their way to give you a special experience.
