Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. Amazing experience! Probably the most unique and beautiful places I have ever had the fortune to stay. Silk sand and crystal clear water! Sook Peng and Fred are wonderful and kind hosts who help to ensure a brilliant stay. They help to organize all the travel arrangements from your lodgings in Kota Kinabalu to the island via car and boat, and it all worked seamlessly. The food that Sook Peng cooked was simply fantastic and some of the best I have had during my whole trip. The lodge is very unique and they take their environmental responsibility very seriously. Staying on the island is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s completely deserted apart from a small village and there are lots of different activities one can do. (Kayak, snorkel, diving, guided walks). We did bonfires at night and spent the days in hammocks just meters from the beach as the local island cows wandered past.

We liked the remote location. We had hut next to the sea. The food was excellent and was prepered according to our requests (2 persons are vegetarians and 2 person sea food lovers).

El The Last Frontier Boutique Resort se encuentra en Bilit, en lo alto de una colina de 100 metros con vistas a la reserva forestal de Kinabatangan y a 2 horas en coche de la hermosa Sandakan. We loved the location, the rooms and the service. The food in the middle of the forest is amazing and the chats with the owners insightful. Highly recommended!

Bayu Senja Lodge se encuentra en Kundasang y dispone de vistas al jardín, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Amazing view with balcony overlooking southern mountains and hills from my room. Tidy & clean, with a decent restaurant on-site so not necessary to drive out to eat. Toiletries are sufficient. Thoughtful details in the room. Pleasantly surprised to find this in such a location.

Borneo Jungle Adventure está en Kinabatangan y dispone de wifi gratis, terraza, restaurante y zona de barbacoa. Increible experiencia, el guia Khai y todo el personal del hotel fueron amables, atentos y cercanos con nosotros en todo momento. Además, Khai consiguió que vieramos el Big 5 de Borneo. Recomendado al 100%.

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort se encuentra en Sepilok y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año, restaurante y bar. La ubicación, el personal y el entorno en general. La comida es variada y rica.

Nulu View Cabin se encuentra en Kundasang, en la región de Sabah, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. Not only was the view from the room amazing, but the lady checking us in and out was so kind and helpful.

Maglami-lami Water House está en Semporna y dispone de vistas al mar y restaurante. Hay un baño privado con bidet en todas las unidades, además de artículos de aseo gratuitos y zapatillas. Everything was perfect – from our stunning sea-view room to the warm, welcoming staff who made us feel at home. Waking up to that turquoise water every morning was magical! The food was fresh and tasty, with lots of variety. We loved the island hopping and snorkeling – swimming with turtles and exploring vibrant reefs was unforgettable. Relaxing, beautiful, and full of adventures – we didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to return.

Tampat do Aman se encuentra en Kudat y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. We had a wonderful stay at Tampat do Aman- Howard was so friendly and helpful, he showed us around and gave us recommendations what to do and where to eat( Inas café is really good). He cares about the local culture and environment and there is also a little museum about the people there( the Rungus) and their culture. We overall can really recommend staying there!
