It was amazing to be able to stay in a such a secluded and beautiful area of kananaskis. The food was incredible and you never go hungry! Met some wonderful people as well, both staff and other guests. There’s no wifi in the tents which is great, and wifi in the lodge if you need it. The service was fantastic. Overall, I had the best stay. I would come back here time and time again.

Clean, comfortable. In the middle of the nature. Gary was an excellent host. Possibilities to hike around the cabin. Fireplace inside the cabin to keep you warm. Deers, hares and squirrels in the surroundings.

The lodge is amazing. It has two big beds in desperate bedrooms and two very comfortable bathrooms (one even has a bathtub). The lodge is very clean and there is more than enough space. We wanted to cook to save some costs, which was easily possible as the kitchen was equipped with all needed cooking utensils and more. It is very clean. For this cheap a price, a steal in my opinion :) Banff is about a 15 minute drive, Lake Louise about 45 minutes and Peyto Lake 1h15m. All very doable by car!

We spent three nights at Miette Mountain Cabins and absolutely loved it! The cabins are fantastic—spacious, cozy, and set in a beautifully maintained property. There’s a pool, hot tub, barbecue area, campfire spots, and even a games room with pool, darts, and more. They offer free coffee, tea, and cookies, which was a lovely touch. The laundry room was spotless, and everything throughout the property was very clean. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking available as well. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Jasper, but the peaceful location and atmosphere made it totally worth it. We’d definitely come back!

The peaceful surroundings added to the charm, making it a perfect spot for a truly enjoyable and restful getaway. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and pleasant stay.

Located 53 km south from the town of Jasper on the Icefields Parkway (HWY 93), this lodge features a restaurant and gift shop. A fridge is offered in each room at Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge. Great location and lovely staff. Even shipped my sweater that I had left behind back to Europe!
